Journaling can feel intimidating at first, especially if you’re not sure what to write about. I hope these prompts can help guide you and meet you where you are.

Passion & Values

1.What activities, places, or moments make me feel most alive or energized? 

2. When in my day do I feel the most like myself? What am I doing during those times?

3. Where in my life am I seeking external validation? What would I choose differently if that pressure disappeared?

4. What does a balanced, authentic life look like for me, not for others expectations?

5. If I could add more joy into one small area of my week, where would I put it?

6. What emotions show up when I imagine giving myself permission to prioritize true authenticity?

Relationships

1. I feel most seen, heard, and valued when..?

2. My relationships provide.. (love, support, joy, advice)?

3. Conversations with [name] make me feel..?

4. I feel drained in relationships that...?

Emotions

1. I find what emotion most uncomfortable, and what does it usually protect me from feeling?

2. When did I recently feel hurt, angry, or overwhelmed, and what need was underneath that feeling?

3. Where do different emotions tend to show up in my body?

4. How do I typically express my emotions, openly, indirectly, through withdrawal, or through action?

5.  What's something that usually helps me when I’m struggling emotionally?

6. How do I know when I'm starting to feel overwhelmed?
